In addition to the core subjects of language arts, math, science, social studies, bible and history-

Grant Christian School has certified instructors in each of the following areas: Art, Choir,

Physical Education, Technology, Spanish, and Band.

 

Subjects Taught

  • Language Arts     Reading, literature, grammar, writing, and spelling.
  • Science                   Hands on exploration, while discovering God’s world.

5th / 6h Grade: Science Process and Earth Science 

7th / 8th  Grade: Physical & Life Science

  • Math                      Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and problem solving.

6th Grade: regular math

7th Grade: regular math, prealgebra

8th Grade: prealgebra or algebra

  • Social Studies     Communities, states and regions, the United States, and map skills.

6th Grade: Western History

7th & 8th Grade: U.S. History

  • Bible Story based Bible curriculum through Christian Schools International.
    5th – 8th Grade: principles of scripture/ discovering what these tell us about God and ourselves, and how to apply them to life .

 

  • Semi – weekly Chapels are lead by students, teachers, local Praise Teams, and ministers.
  • Weekly classes offered in Art, Gym, Computers, Spanish, Choir and Band

Yearly Service Projects  are predetermined by G.C.S. Staff  inorder for students to have the opportunity to give of their time, talents, or financial resources to benefit others.

Educational Support Services are provided through Grant Public Schools and tutoring is provided through G.C.S. upon recommendation.
