Classes for 2009-2010
Bible: The early Church, Acts - Revelation
US History: American Civil War through present day. Hands on activities and historical artifacts will complement lectures. There will be several days through the year we focus on relevant historical events.
Physical Science: Electricity, Magentism, Motion, Energy, Forces. One class period a week will be set aside for projects & experiments related to the concepts we are learning each week.
Language Arts: In addition to selections from other sources, students will be reading: The Red Badge of Courage, The Adventures of Hucklberry Finn, The Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler, Fahrenheit 451.
Every quarter students will be required to read a book from one of the two assigned genres and complete a book review of their selection. Click here to see the entire assignment.
