Grant Christian School had a wonderful time celebrating Grandparents Day on November 26. We were excited to welcome so many grandparents and special guests for a morning filled with fun, faith, and time together. The day started with a meaningful chapel led by Rep. Joe Fox, who shared an encouraging message about legacy and the impact families can have on their communities.

After chapel, everyone gathered for a school program that showed off the talents of our students. Classes shared thoughtful poetry, a lively reader’s theatre, and some cheerful recorder songs and music from the younger grades. The 7th/8th-grade band led by band director Mr. Neville ended the program with a great performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Once the program wrapped up, grandparents enjoyed cookies and coffee, giving students a chance to introduce their guests to teachers and friends. The morning ended with classroom visits, where grandparents got to see student projects, look around their learning spaces, and enjoy some special time together.

It was a warm, happy day—one that reminded us how blessed we are to have such supportive and loving grandparents in our school community.
