New Staff
This year Grant Christian School hired many new staff to support the elementary building. Mr. Steenstra is our new part time interim Principal. He shares the administration position with Mr. VanderZanden. Mr. Steenstra is at GCS on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Mr. VanderZanden is at GCS on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A new teacher, Mrs. Hall currently teaches 3rd and 4th grade. Coming into the year with a class of 23, Mrs. Hall was given an aide; Mrs. Geers on Monday and Tuesday, and Mrs. Haan on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs. Haan, who replaced Mrs. Hutchinson, also teaches art on Mondays and Tuesdays. Mrs. Weirs is currently mentoring Mrs. Hall in her challenging split grade level classroom. Mrs. Hall replaced Miss Borgman, who served many years at Grant Christian School. Each of these teachers help our school grow and thrive in Christ.
