Did you know today is National Kindergarten Day? How fitting that we had Kindergarten visit day for the preschoolers today! Miss DeVries had a great morning with the Kindergarteners and preschoolers all together! They learned about Kindergarten and all different kids of insects!
If you’re looking for a Christ-centered Kindergarten, we’d love for you to check us out!

Check out this beautiful drawing kindergarten student, Nelson, made during Choice Time this morning in class! When asked why he drew this, his response was, "I like it that Jesus died to save me."
Amen, Nelson! AMEN!
God is moving here at GCS! We can feel His presence daily!

If you have a middle school student (5-8) please plan on having them to school tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 7:15 for the Fine Arts Festival.

Congratulations to our Volleyball team! They took 1st place in their tournament today! Way to go!

Today our Preschoolers and Kindergartners got to make and try different kinds of green eggs and ham! Many would eat them here or there! They would eat them anywhere!

Next week is spirit week! Please join us in these fun days to get in school spirit leading up to our annual auction!

Our Kindergarteners are celebrating Cat in the Hat day today!

Our 1st and 2nd graders spent 2/22/2022 learning all about pairs, estimating, writing with details, and stretching their brains and bodies! They ate and competed with double stuffed Oreos, made pb&j sandwiches to work on their writing skills, and completed various activities in 2 minutes to practice estimating. They also learned that 2/22 was George Washington’s Birthday, and celebrated a belated President’s Day with great conversations about the works of Washington and Lincoln.

STEM Highlight - This week in STEM our students were able to enjoy a Valentine’s STEM project! They made different shapes and projects using tooth pics and gummy hearts! It was a fun and delicious activity!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
As we celebrated Valentine’s Day today, we are reminded that there is no greater love than the love of Christ!
John 15:12 “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

No school today due to weather.
Today marked our 100th day of school! Our Kindergarten class celebrated by dressing up like they were 100 years old! They got to do many 100 themed activities throughout the day. They made a 100 piece trail mix, did 100 workouts, scored 100 points in a bean bag toss, made cool creations out of 100 legos, built towers out of 100 cups and so much more! They even got to walk the red carpet to show off their cool new look! It was a fun day celebrating all of the learning they’ve done for the last 100 days!

Haas, aka Brendan Carroll, challenged us today to get “spurred on” this week! We can do this by reading our Bible, praying and having faith in God!
