The preschool class did a buddy project today with the third and fourth graders. It’s always a fun time!
Today our 3rd & 4th graders took a field trip to Church's Tree Farm! They started out with a hayride to look at all the trees and then were able to pick out and cut a tree. The kids had a great time picking one out for their classroom. They were then able to help shake and wrap the tree. They finished the trip with hot chocolate and candy! Thank you Church's for allowing our students to come! 🎄

Opinion Writing started today in second grade with a Fact/Opinion Hunt around the room. They worked with partners and loved the activity. 💙

To continue their study on Latin America, many students chose to participate by creating delicious food! 7th and 8th graders were treated to pork tacos, beef tacos, pico de gallo, tamales, and chips and salsa all created by their classmates. We’ve got some budding culinary talent here at GCS!

We are so thankful for all of the Grandparents who came out for Grandparent's day! We worshiped together, enjoyed ask the pastor, visited classrooms and enjoyed student performances! God has been so faithful to GCS and our families! 💙 We have so much to be thankful for!

The Ladies of Honor is an opportunity for our 7/8th grade girls to go above and beyond their regular school work to grow their faith in Jesus Christ and display Christian character and leadership. The first step is reciting the group axioms. Four girls were awarded their Ladies of Honor t-shirts after they recited this creed. I AM A LEADER
